For the opera Candide, a colloured copperplate engraving from the 17th century with the motif of a world map was produced as a translucent backdrop. The realisation of the characteristic texture of the graphic technique was particularly interesting. I painted the illustrated frame of the map.
Für die Oper Candide wurde eine collorierter Kupferstich aus dem 17ten Jahrhundert mit dem Motiv einer Weltkarte als durchleuchtbare Malerei hergestellt. Die Umsetzung der charakteristischen Textur der grafischen Technik war dabei besonders interessant.
